MEET THE LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHER

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself

I’m Eric, people usually know me as wingchow. A person who loves to listen about different people’s story and life experience, a person who are passionate in photography, illustration and graphic design. I mostly do street photography and try to capture scenes that touches me.

2. Where is your favourite spot to take street photography at where you are based?

One of my favourite spot to take street photography is at Chowrasta Market, which is a place where people able to get their ingredients for cooking daily, a place which surrounded by different kind of sounds, people negotiating the prices of raw cooking materials, the sound of the butcher sharpening their knife and etc.

3. What do you think about when taking street photography?

I usually will try to keep myself blank as I’m trying to feel with hearts rather than compose a catch that is targeted properly. If I really have to share about what am I thinking, I would like to think about what memories that I had during this street and will try to relate it on my shooting.
